A:free verse mean that its any pattern u want. for example, if the first line is ryhmed with the last line and everything between ryhmes, then it would be some thing like a-b-b-b-a. thats a free verse. if u want to write a a-a-b-b-c-c-d-d, like couplets, thats allowed. also, ask ur teacher. and if u dont have time, then state to he/she that u didnt know whether or not and were confused.

A:Personally I think rhyme limits what a writer can say. "Whit no excuse other than cancer she died." Don't think that can be put to rhyme and made better.
