I have to do a finger play tomorrow in class and teach high school students a poem. My class is actually all early childhood students but I am the only prospective high school teacher there. Anyone know any short poems that have to do with history?

I uesd to be a college student, now I want to find some essays collected books that is useful for students, to improve my writting and reading. These essays should not be short stories, but something meaningful. They could be feuilletons, poems, arguments, expository proses; they could be something about the beautiful views, the journy, the meaning of life, the nature of humanity, except for short stories and fictions.
