100% Q: I need tips on how to make my poem better? The poem is entitled High School & Beyond?
Oh how fast it goes by
Freshmen year came and we don’t know our way around the place We had to eat that terrible food in the cafeteria
Sophomore year came and we have to take the plan test and yes we were still eating that terrible cafeteria food We are still looking forward to the day that we get to leave campus for lunch
Oh wait here Junior years comes and we no longer have to eat lunch in the cafeteria Oh how long have we been waiting for this year to come
Senior year come and we have many things to look forward to Prom, May fete, & Graduation
Graduation day comes and goes and we have to say that final good by to our friends in hopes that we will meet again someday along lives journey
Some will go far away to college and some will stay near, Some will go into the armed forces and some will just work, Some will leave and never return to this town, Others will never depart from this town
Five years down the road we go to a class reunion, And we wonder who remembers us and some will say who is that over there I don’t recognize that person, When they finally realize just who that person is over there, They will say remember when that person thus and so
How the years do fly
A:ok first off- thats barely a poem. not cuz it doesnt rhyme and stuff. it doesnt have 2. but jazz it up a little. it seems like free verse so give it a cool shape. second- talk about more than just the cafeteria food. its a funny concept, but it cant b ur only concept. that poem has A LOT of potential its just very boring right now. try 2 make it very funny. high school poems/ stories cant b boring b/c they just cant b! make it funnier and cooler shape express staying up late and cool parties and some sort of teen anger in a way w/ a good ending (not soo much teen angst)

A:How do you feel about haiku's? here goes:
End of the school year.
Anticipating the break,
But first: tests to take.
Do I know enough?
Will I pass? Fail? I worry.
But -- I do just fine.
Leaving Middle School.
I'm sad, but excited, too,
To try something new.
Summer vacation.
I feel so happy to be
Free from the classroom.
High School: here I go.
Who's like me? Who's different?
Where do I fit in?
Changed, and yet I'm still
The same. Both adult and child.
Growing up is strange.
The rest of my life
Starts here and now. Walk the aisle.
I've graduated!

100% Q: Where could i get published??
I am a writer but i want to start publishing my stuff before i leave high school so does anyone know what i could do?? I have written a lot of poems and i have started a few stories
A:pray for a miracle? I'd like to be published before I leave highschool too, but that's not going to happen. Start making friends and submitting your stuff to local newspapers and magazines. Enter some contests and then pray you get lucky.
And get out the ice cream, cause you're gonna get rejected, and ice cream makes rejection feel a whole lot better... it numbs the pain.

100% Q: New poem? What do you think? It's about middle school?
Six hours a day, five days a week,
Waiting for the future we seek?
Ruled by bells, set by the time,
Arrive at classes, stop on a dime.
Wait in homeroom, study for math,
Hope that this stress leads to the right path.
Why must we suffer just to look ahead,
Walk the halls, living dead.
Make it to class, thirty seconds to spare,
Ignore the annoyed teacher’s stare.
Slap down the papers, pick up a pen,
Hopefully we’ll get it back, don’t count on when.
Cram for next period, just another day,
Nothing new learned, nothing to say.
Everyone wonders why there’s so much tension,
Waiting for the L.S.A.T.s, too much apprehension.
Who knows about college, there’s no time to think,
It’s all over anyway, gone in a blink.
Soon we’re in high school, and it doesn’t matter,
No one holds on, everyone scatters.
But that math test means nothing now,
Reality disappears, waiting for something new to allow.
We leave for college, some bound with letters,
Trying to make our lives better.
And it doesn’t matter, forget about school,
When it comes to real life, you’re the class fool.
A:omg that is so awesome i love it 5/5
