Mappy is a 1983 arcade game by Namco. In the U.S., it was manufactured and distributed by Bally/Midway. Mappy is a side-scrolling platformer that features cartoon-like characters, primarily cats and mice. The game's star character itself is a mouse. Mappy runs on Namco Super Pac-Man hardware, modified to support horizontal scrolling. The name "Mappy" is likely derived from mappo, a Japanese slang term (slightly insulting) for a policeman.....

100% Q: How do you get past level 8 in mappy land?

I'm on level 8 in mappy land for nintendo nes. It's the level where you have to collect all the cheese than you go inside the castle and you collect more cheese and then I get to the end where you meet the girl mouse and she says sorry mappy your late to my birthday no bouns, and then you have to start that level over, how do you get past it?

A:I don't know, because i don't have a nintendo, but good luck finding!!!!

100% Q: Looking for video game system for TV that plays the oldies?

I am looking for a video game system for the TV that has games such as Ms. Pacman, Galaga, mario...I am so out of the game industry (mom with young children) but we play the Namco that you plug into the tv - really cheap (my kids get them for gifts) they keep breaking. We have such a good time with them. What would be a good game system that young children can play. They love playing Galaga, Mappy, pacman (and so do we (the adults). Any input will be greatly appreciated.

A:Either of the following would be great for your kids: Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in the States), Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) or Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). These are all video game consoles from the 80's/90's. They're still great fun today and especially good for younger gamers, retro fans or people who don't care much for realistic graphics. The graphics will be on par with the plug and play systems your kids are playing at the moment. All of these are readily available on ebay. They are cheap compared to current consoles but prices have started to creep up lately as more people are enjoying retro gaming. They can also be purchased at second hand gaming stores (such as gamestation in the UK). Games for these consoles are available for next to nothing. Why not also look at the possibility of the new Nintendo Wii? It's a lot more expensive than the old consoles but no where near as expensive as the Playstation3. The Wii is great fun for all ages and is good exercise too! Have a look at Nintendo.com for details on the Wii. Good luck!

Hello, I am interested to create a tool who will capture (for example the amount of miles to drive on mappy.com). information from the web, depending on my request. Also it need that that tool has to send information to a webpage (example: address in mappy). A:I've been a Java developer for 9 years now, but I've never needed to do this (but there are times when I have thought it would be cool to try - i.e. query dictionary.com, etc.). However, I found a code sample from javaworld.com that shows how to POST data to a CGI script at a specific URL and get back the resulting HTML: http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/javatips/javatip42/jw-Example.java.html First, you will need to examine the HTML code from the Web site to find out what fields you need to send information for. Then, you will have to extract your information from the returned HTML and process it as you see fit.
