A:Rudayrd Kipling and William Wordworth are great for that. And Henry David Thoreau is particularly fantastic. Also keep an eye out for Longfellow (can't remember the first name sorry) and if you like his work, Shakespeare can be pretty uplifting, provided you can get through the language barrier. One of the most beautiful and inspiring poems I know is called "Evolution" by Langdon Smith, detailing a pair's love for each other as they evolve from one creature to another, together forever.

And give you My Peace which will not pass away. I Was Taken Up In A Cloud To My Glory. Now I Fill By My Spirit, As you tell My Great Story.
