My child will be graduating high school next month. Can she use the computer to address the formal outside postal envelope to her announcements and hand write the informal names on the inside envelope or is that considered improper? Her hand writing is pretty sloppy and she has quite a few to address.

100% Q: What is a appropriate amount to give for a High Scholl Graduation gifts?

I am receiving several High School Graduation announcements from people that I have worked while volunteering at my kids school. We all have kids roughly the same age. I am casual friends with these parents, but I don't really know their kids.I would like to send a congrat,ulation card, but I don't know what is an appropriate amount of money to give, and since i have received several, I don't really want to spend alot of money.

A:well.. since you volunteered..and don't know the kids, you don't actually have to send money. a card is fine, since there's a lot. if it was just maybe one or two, then yeah i'd understand, and you don't have to give much because you're not related, maybe 20 , 30 bucks would even be fine. but if there's several, just send a card. or a card with some candy. or a card with a giftcard to something like starbucks (5 bucks)

100% Q: Should I sent a college graduation invitation to people who didn't come to my high school graduation?

I am graduating, and thinking about buying announcements. But I feel it will be a waste of time. In high school, I brought like 50 announcements, and practically none of the people that I sent the announcements to came to the high school graduation or even called to contragulate me, including my grandfather or aunts and uncles. If graduating from high school isn't a big deal to them, then maybe college isn't either? My father told me that it would be extremely rude not to send annoucements. What should I do?

A:I wouldn't bother. Just invite close family and friends. It's too much time and effort to invite all those other people.

100% Q: Hi. My question is regarding who should I be sending announcements to for my son's high school graduation?

My son is graduating from high school this year and I have a few day's of "wiggle" room to decide whether or not I should send an annoumcement to certain people in my life. I am not sure if it is appropraite to send an annoucment to family members and previous co-workers that I corresponde with, pretty much only with Christmas cards each year or see only at funerals, etc. I also cannot remember if I sent annoucements to these family member's when my daughter graduated 4 year's ago.
