100% Q: whats a good poem and song for a video memorial about the death of a friends sister for her mom ?

I'm making a video for a friend. Her 5 month old sister died this summer and I want to make a video memorial about her for her mom. And I want to put a song and poem, thatâ€™s about losing a child, on there but I donâ€™t know what a good song and poem is. If any one knows a really good song and poem, that would be awesome. Im looking for a memorial poem and a bday poem for a loved one who passed away.....i would like to put something in the newspaper and i can find anything that hits home.....any suggestions???? thanks

A:Hi,not sure what to put for the Birthday bit.but here is one that was sent to me,When my partner died last year. If tears could build a stairway and memories could build a lane We would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears will flow. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know. But know we know you want us to mourn for you no more. To remember all the happy time life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten we pledge to you today. A hallowed place within our hearts is where you'll always stay. PS: I do hope this helps you,At least a little,I know where your coming from.And i hope and prey that your pain eases.

100% Q: Eulogy or poem for death of an acquantance needed?

I have a co worker who was asked to speak at a funeral for the son of her friend. He was only an acquaintance to her. I need help finding some type of condolence poem. This man was a Vietnam veteran. However, he cast away by society, suffering both the mental and physical scars of war. It seems to not be fitting to have a memorial that relates to his time in the service which inevitably killed him. Most of the poetry on death seems to be from the 'love' connection of a person or they are written in ways that would seem way too formal for this type setting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

100% Q: Memorial poem for grandma and grandpa?

You all are always so helpful so I thought I would ask. I am getting down to the wire getting some things done so I will now probably have a bunch of questions. I wasn't orginally going to do memorial anything as I know my loved ones are watching down but I think it would touch my mom. I would like to include a small poem or something in my program for my grandma and grandpa (my mother's parents, also my grandparents I was close with) my grandpa died when I was about 2 or 3 but still have fond memories of him and his wife my grandma who died when I was 15. They both died too early and wish they were still here. I think my grandma really died after my grandpa did. They were married for so long and only to each other. So I would like a poem of some sort about marriage/love and death. Not morbid or anything. Hope I am explaining this correctly. Does anyone know of anything? Thanks in advance! ;)

A:This is a great idea, and I have done a few programs for client including a memorial poem with the preface "in loving memory of..." I usually include this on the back or last page.
